Kary Bheemaiah

Head of research - U Change

Kary stands at the crossroads of applied research and business development. As the Head of Research at Uchange, Kary develops algorithmic frameworks for digital transformation projects and change management programs. His multidisciplinary research is focused on technology adaptation, the design of technology and the implications of technological evolution.
In early 2017, he published his first book, The Blockchain Alternative: Rethinking macroeconomic policy and economic theory. His articles on subjects related to Blockchain, economics and the effects of technological change on society have been published in WIRED magazine, Harvard Business Review, The World Economic Forum and Les Echos among others. He has also given 2 TEDx talks on the subject of currency evolution and the future of capitalism.
He is an Assistant Research Scientist at Cambridge University, a Senior Fellow at École des Ponts Business School, a visiting lecturer at Grenoble Ecole de Management, Moody’s and ESCP London, a frequent public speaker and workshop host and a mentor at StartupBootCamp.
In a previous life, he was a legionnaire in the French Foreign Legion and was awarded a cross of valor for services rendered in Afghanistan.
